It warns of depleting soil and the growth of biofuels worldwide. It reminds us of our promises to eradicate hunger worldwide. Next year, for the first time in history, more than half the people on this planet will live in cities and towns, according to the UN Population Fund. Isn’t it about time to re-think the definition of “the farmer”?
